Putting Several Pages on One Sheet
Open your PDF
Drop the file onto the upload area or click to browse. The page count is shown so you can picture how many sheets the finished layout will need.
Pick a layout
Choose 2, 4, 6, 8, or 9 pages per sheet, set the sheet to portrait or landscape, and adjust the gap between pages and the margin around the edge.
Build and download
Press Combine Pages. Your pages are scaled to fit the grid, centred in each cell, and arranged onto A4 sheets in reading order, then saved as a new PDF.
Choosing a Layout
More pages per sheet means smaller pages and fewer sheets to print. Match the layout to why you are combining.
| Layout | Grid | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 2 per sheet | 1 by 2, or 2 by 1 in landscape | Booklets and side-by-side reading with pages still large |
| 4 per sheet | 2 by 2 | Handouts and slide notes, a good balance of size and saving |
| 6 per sheet | 2 by 3, or 3 by 2 in landscape | Compact handouts where legibility still matters |
| 8 or 9 per sheet | 2 by 4, 4 by 2, or 3 by 3 | Contact-sheet overviews and heavy paper saving |
How Pages Are Placed and Scaled
Scaled to fit, not cropped
Each page is shrunk to its cell while keeping its shape, so nothing is stretched or cut off.
Reading order kept
Pages fill left to right, top to bottom, in the original order, so a handout still follows in sequence.
Crisp vector output
Pages are placed as vector content, so text stays sharp and selectable at the smaller size.
Room to bind
The gap and margin leave space for stapling, hole punching, or a trim line, and sheets default to A4.
