Delete Pages Features

Trim a PDF down to just the pages you want to keep.

Selection

By Number or Range

Remove single pages like 3, spans like 5-7, or several at once such as 2, 8, 11-13.

Live Page Count

The tool shows how many pages the PDF has so you always target valid page numbers.

Safe Guardrail

You cannot remove every page. The tool keeps at least one so you never end with an empty file.

Output

Private by Design

Page removal runs in your browser with pdf-lib, so the file can stay on your device.

Fast and Lossless

Kept pages are copied exactly, so text, fonts, and images stay at their original quality.

One-Click Download

The trimmed PDF is ready to download as soon as the pages are removed.

Removing Pages from a PDF, Step by Step

  1. Open your PDF

Drag the file onto the drop zone or click to browse. The page count appears straight away, so you can see the highest page number you are allowed to reference before typing anything.

  2. Name the pages to drop

Type the pages you no longer want, for example 1, 4-6, 12. Commas separate individual pages and hyphens mark a run. The tool ignores any number above the page count, so a stray digit will not break the result.

  3. Save the trimmed copy

Press Delete Pages. A fresh PDF is built from the pages you kept and offered for download. Your original file is never altered, so you can redo the selection at any time.

What Leaves and What Stays

Deleting pages rebuilds the document from the pages you keep. The listed pages are dropped, and everything else carries over untouched. Here is exactly what changes.

Common Reasons to Delete Pages

Drop blank separators

Batch scanners often insert empty pages between documents. List those page numbers to clean the file without rescanning anything.

Trim a cover or back matter

Remove a title page, an advertisement, or a terms sheet before you forward a report to someone who only needs the body.

Cut a duplicate scan

When a page was fed through twice, delete the repeated page number so the reader sees a single clean copy.

Shorten before sharing

Send only the pages that matter, which also makes the file smaller and faster to open on the other side.

If Something Does Not Work

It refuses to delete every page

A PDF must contain at least one page, so the tool blocks a selection that would empty the file. Leave at least one page out of your delete list.

An encrypted file will not open

Password-protected PDFs cannot be read for editing. Remove the protection in a PDF viewer first, then upload the unlocked copy.

The wrong pages were removed

Page numbers start at 1 and match what a viewer shows. Re-open the original, confirm the numbers, and enter them again. Nothing was changed in your source file.
