What This Extractor Does

Pick exactly the pages you want and choose how they come out.

Choosing Pages

Numbers and Ranges

Enter single pages, ranges, or a mix such as 1, 4-6, 9. Out-of-range numbers are skipped so a typo never stops the job.

Your Order, Kept

Pages come out in the exact order you type them, so entering 5, 2 puts page five ahead of page two.

Duplicates Removed

List the same page twice and it still appears once, so overlapping ranges never repeat a page.

Output Options

One File or Many

Combine the chosen pages into a single PDF, or split them into a separate file for each page.

Download as ZIP

When you extract separate files, grab them all at once in a single ZIP instead of clicking each one.

Local and Lossless

Everything runs in your browser with pdf-lib. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so quality is untouched.

Pulling Pages into a New PDF

  1. Open the source PDF

Drop the file in or click to browse. The tool reports the page count immediately, which tells you the range you can pick from before you type a single number.

  2. List the pages you want, in order

Enter the pages to keep, such as 3, 1, 7-9. They are gathered in the exact order you write them, so 3, 1 places page three ahead of page one in the result. This is how you reorder while you extract.

  3. Save the new document

Press Extract Pages. The chosen pages are copied into a single new PDF and offered for download. The source file is left exactly as it was.

Four Jobs You Can Do on This Page

Choosing which pages to keep is flexible enough to cover extracting, splitting, removing, and reordering. Here is how to get each result with the controls above.

Reorder pagesType the pages in the order you want, such as 5, 2, 9Pages appear in the sequence you listed, not the original order

Where Extracting Pages Helps

Share one chapter

Send just the appendix or the section a colleague asked for, instead of forwarding a hundred-page report they have to scroll through.

Build a highlights file

Gather the key pages from a long document into one short PDF that is quicker to read and lighter to email.

Reorder on the way out

Because pages come out in the order you type them, you can fix a mixed-up sequence in the same step you extract it.

Pull evidence or exhibits

Lift specific numbered pages, such as signed forms or referenced figures, into a clean file for a submission.

How Order and Duplicates Are Handled

5, 2, 9
Comes out as page five first, then two, then nine, so the list is the order.
3, 3-4
A page listed twice is still included once, so you get pages three and four, not a doubled three.
Out-of-range numbers
Anything past the last page is quietly skipped, so a small typo never stops the extraction.
Every page
Copied rather than redrawn, so text stays sharp and images keep full quality.
